I have just transfered files to my new mac from my two other old computers.
First thing I noticed was that many documents such as jpg's or Pages files when viewed on the desktop displayed plain white files. So the suffix on the end i presume wasnt being linked with its application.
Also when i try to open (almost) all files I get "Couldnt open the file. It may be corrupt or a file format that Preview doesnt recognize."
Its almost lik quicktime is dead, but i had an issue with a pages file also where the file turned into a folder which when clicked 'tried' opening up in Pages, but then died.
Any ideas?
