I was looking around the MacPro order page and noticed that their promotional tie in with the iPod ends on July 23rd. This is a day after intel drop the price of the Xeons and a day before "Tuesday" the 24th, maybe we will see a BTO bump?

Xeon price drop got pushed back to the 29th, but there is no reason to think Apple wouldn't be able to start selling machines on the 24 with delayed ship dates.

The iPod promo doesnt end till September 16th, atleast in the US.

My bad it was the printer promotion.

I would double check because I got the student package with printer at the last day of the iPod promotion. Maybe its summer printer deal and when school starts they do a new series of printers.
