Command + tab will do the same thing, otherwise, you can swipe up with three fingers to get something similar. It will show you all your open apps, and you can either click on one, or put your cursor over it and swipe down with three fingers. I believe you have to have this gesture turned on though which you can do from System Preferences > Trackpad. It is the 'mission control' gesture. It might not be exactly what you are looking for, but it works well for me, so I hope it helps you too.
Not that I am aware of, so if there is hopefully someone else will share it here!thx, do you know if there are any extra apps i can download that allows me to do the command tab option via the trackpad on the macbook air?
Maybe bettertouchtool. I don't use it myself.thx, do you know if there are any extra apps i can download that allows me to do the command tab option via the trackpad on the macbook air?
That's what Mission Control does. Three or four finger swipe up (assuming Mission Control is turned on in trackpad preferences).is there a way to just between apps (just like the alt + tab option) but by only using the trackpad on macbook air
Alt+Tab switches directly to previous window, while Mission Control requires you to make a click on the desired window. Not convenient. That's what Mission Control does. Three or four finger swipe up (assuming Mission Control is turned on in trackpad preferences).
I am not very familiar with Windows. Does a three finger swipe left and right switch windows? I get that you don't want to swipe and then select. You'd like it all to happen with one gesture. Unfortunately, I think all Mac solutions are going to require two actions–one swipe to bring up some kind of switcher, and a click to select....allows me to do the command tab option via the trackpad on the macbook air?
