I jumped the gun this last Thursday and fully upgraded to Lion, I figured everything for audio production would have been churned out into tip-top shape, however I was incorrect... for example when I run Ableton Live with anymore than 3 simultaneous sounds running, VSTS or not... even samples it gives me awful audio pops and hiccups and milliseconds of muted signal, so I want to dual boot Snow Leopard back onto a partition so I can still write music uninterrupted...

Couple questions are....

1) Will I have to reinstall all of my software onto this separate partition

2) Am I able to run a secondary partition of Snow Leopard while my main is on Lion? (I only ask because I see many people who were running a secondary of Lion and keeping Snow Leopard as the main... which would have made a hell of a lot more sense for me to have done in the first place...)

Thanks guys! I'm just glad I only upgraded my main iMac cause my MBP is running just fine with Snow Leopard just the way I need it to so I can do my live shows.
