Jumping Dock

Hi,

I usually work on my MacBook Pro with one or two external displays attached. The MacBook LCD is my main screen, the dock is positioned there on the bottom. Annoyingly, it doesn't stay there. Maybe every 15 minutes it jumps to another screen. I can reposition it on the LCD by again choosing "position --> bottom" from the Dock's menu; but not for long.

Can this behavior be avoided?

Any input would be greatly appreciated
