I just purchased, a used Mac Pro 2.8GH 8 core off a reputable ebay seller. He installed a Nvidia 120 graphics card. I have plugged the computer to my Dell monitor, which I have used with my Mac g4 for years. I noticed that when I look at the black areas of the screen I see numerous jumping horizontal lines very small in size randomly jumping around. It only happens in black screens
the lines are red in color, and about the thickness of a needle. I have updated all the software as instructed by the seller, but still does it.

What could cause this?
could it be the graphics card?
Could I install the Graphics card from my g4 to see if it does it still?
Any help would be appreciated
