jumping my bike with iphone in pocket?

I was wondering if it would be safe to have my iphone in my pocket with a case while jumping bikes, and skating. the summer is coming up and i want to have my phone with me at all times. i do not know what to do, let me know what you think. do any of you keep it in your pocket while doing anything like this?

Well, I hope I had an iPhone to answer your question... Not available here yet!

Anyway, it should be safe... Of course try to avoid hitting it against anything, but as for the constant movement, don't worry, it's flash memory not HDD... But even a Classic (HDD-based) should stand it!

yes it should be safe.... however would suggest a protective case (beside the point anyway) to protect ur new beauty from scratches.. griffin have some nice ones... but if your iphone falls from a half-pipe its had it...

i suggest you watch iphone endurance tests on youtube.

Well by the looks of it you're no stranger to apple products and your iPhone, so you should know the structural integrety of it. Plus, who knows how good of a skater you are, so you could be falling all over the place are sticking every jump.

Dude I wouldn't do it without some serious protection. Like one of those otter boxes or a pelican case sized for the iphone. One bad landing and you'll probably be out 400-500 bucks. Not worth it.
