I bought the mac air 2013 11 in, and sometimes(very rare) I come across an issue where my cursor gets very jumpy/jerky. For instance, let's say I move the cursor the the left. It would move, then lag a bit, then try to catch up to where it should have been, then repeat. This only happened a few times, and a restart normally fixes it. I just don't want to always have to restart in case I'm in the middle of some work.

I thought mavericks would fix this issue, but right now, I'm going through it. All I have open(when I press command+tab) is iTunes, mac app store, activity monitor, and Finder. My Mac app store is downloading some mac apps since I just changed to mavericks. Im not sure if that's the cause of the jerky-ness of the cursor movement though. Putting it to sleep and waking up did not help with it.

Found out this happens sometimes when I connect my external hard drive. Only a restart/reboot fixes this issue.
