Unless something is seriously going wrong with your OS (which can be remedied by reinstalling) there is no need to use those sort of products.
I've used my install of OS X Leopard upgraded to Snow Leopard for the last, like, five months and I have yet to need any sort of clean up program. OS X, much like solar power, is a clean burning fuel. I have yet to encounter any serious issues needing manual cleanup.
