Hi everybody, first post here (be patient:p)
I have an issue after (clean) install of Catalina on my MBP (2017):
when I launch Mail app, the junk mail folder is missing from the sidebar, but if I open Mail preferences, it comes back where is supposed to be. (Junk mail is enabled with the option "Move to junk folder" enabled).
When I quit Mail and then I reopen it, same behavior.

The only way to keep the junk folder visible in the sidebar, is to quit the Mail app with the junk folder highlighted.
So, if you want to replicate the issue (if you have the junk mail enabled) please try this:

  1. Open Mail
  2. Highlight any folder, except the junk mail one (if it's visible)
  3. Quit Mail/Reopen
  4. Check if the junk mail folder is visible

If it's not, is a bug, otherwise it's me. :)
