So this popped into my head today, and I thought it sounded cool. I don't expect this to ever show up, it was just a random idea. I think it'd be cool if they made the next iPod touch about the same size as the current iPhone, and implemented some sort of external signal cable so that you could hook it up to your computer monitor, then your touch itself would turn into like a control pad for gaming, and the monitor would become your gaming screen. I guess the touch could be like the bottom screen on the DS (I don't know, as I've never used a DS), or just a control pad, or when not plugged in, you could use it like you would normally as an iPod touch. Does that make sense? It just sounded like a cool idea as a step towards making it a partially gaming-oriented system, for both handheld gaming and console-like gaming.
