Spoke to Verizon.

If you sell your iPhone 4 after the announcement to get max $ and have a dummy phone to use for a week or 2 until you pick up the new iPhone:

You have 30 days to re add your unlimited data if you have it. So your dummy phone will cancel your unlimited iPhone data but since your grandfathered in you have 30 days to re add it. Per Verizon phone rep.

Just a heads up if your planning on doing what I'm doing (as long as Verizon bumps up the upgrade date)

Part 2: don't buy a prepaid cheap phone from Walmart, the phone had to either be active on a contract line before OR the prepaid phone had been used for 6 months or more
