just a general question for the iphone 6

I like the bottom so everything plugs in at one point but its hard to squeeze my pinky at the bottom to hold my phone when i have headphones and my charging cable plugged in. Perhaps this will change once the screen gets bigger.

I prefer the top.
I find the phone easier to use one handed when it's on the top.
When I'm at the gym it's annoying you can't set the phone on the little shelf thing.
In a car with it plugged in from the headphones into aux the wire needs to wrap under the phone reducing it's length.
In a pocket I prefer to keep the upright so I can pull it out and look at it without flipping it over. Minor issue I know...

i think you hit alot of points for reasons i dislike the bottom, car wise i never listen to the radio so i had to find a longer AUX cord, i hate flipping it out of pocket aswell, its very annoying trying to text with both plugged in, we are adults we dont have newborn pinkys lol...
Yep. I'm not saying it's all bad and it's not the end of the world. I do find it strange we prefer it on top for a lot of decent reasons however people that prefer it on the bottom just do, no real reason. Just cause apple does something doesn't mean it's a good way of doing things. My opinion obviously.
If you're using headphones having the jack on the buttom keeps the headphone cord from getting in the way of the screen.
There are obviously reasons for both.
I understand that I mentioned a reason earlier in the thread. I was just pointing out the obvious.

man it has to be hell to create cell phones in todays smartphone game. everybody wont be pleased
For me, the bottom is best placement. It's easier to tuck in. I have a 4S, and whenever I hit the gym to play music, I have to adjust the 4S in my hand before I tuck it in my pocket (if you can picture it).
I keep my phone sitting in my cup holder with an aux cable connected to my stereo (no Bluetooth in my car), so I'd prefer the top so that it doesn't need to be upside down.

Yup. And as we can see by Samsung's hate ads, they sure aren't happy.
i personally think samsung is a joke, all their ads are geared towards bashing apple, while apple just sells its product, meanwhile samsung compated the s3 & s4 to the iphone 4s if im not mistaking... comparing two phones to 1 was kinda of a lost in my view
