Just a Question about iTunes...

Okay so I have some songs I ripped off of a CD and they're in a folder I made. I added them to my iTunes library. If I delete the songs from the folder I kept them in will they disappear from my iTunes or does iTunes store another copy of the song somewhere else? I'm using Snow Leopard btw. Thanks in advance

It depends on whether you have these boxes checked or unchecked in iTunes > Preferences:

If you have "Copy files..." checked, you can delete the originals. If you don't, don't delete the originals. You can also "Get Info" on a song in iTunes to find out where the file is stored.
