I am looking at purchasing a monitor from Futureshop it's the 22' proview.

Just wondering, if i wanted to, could i hook up my bell expressvu satellite box to this and watch? or is that a no no. If i can what are the required cables and such.

Also I plan on hooking up my xbox 360 and 12" powerbook to this at the same time, what is the best way to go about this? DVI for powerbook VGA for xbox?

Here is a link to the monitor http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?sku_id=0665000FS10080443&catid=25074&logon=&langid=EN

Probably need more information about the satellite box.... is it a hi-def box? What outputs does it have? You might have better luck with something like the Dell consumer line products (WFP) that have more inputs, so that you can do everything.

The ProView has
- Analog & Digital (VGA & DVI Inputs)

So... the Bell box would have to have VGA or DVI output.

Does it?

With the right cable, you can extract DVI-D from an HDMI output, but you will lose the sound that is carried in the HDMI connection.
