Still new to the whole Ipod Touch deal (I don't actually own one...yet).

My cousin is letting me borrow her Ipod Touch for a while. I opened up iTunes and downloaded my first app, cost a few bucks. But when I try to sync her ipod into my laptop and use my iTunes, I get a message that her Touch is already synced to another iTunes account. It asks me if I want to delete all the current Ipod apps and install all my apps (all one of them). Obviously, no, I don't want to erase her stuff. Is there any way to just add my one app onto her iPod, or is this Apple's way of making sure one person doesn't buy an app and then lets all his friends get that app for free?

Thanks!
