I HAD a 128gb iPhone 12

Decided to go 13 Pro Max with 256gb storage.

In my iPhone 12 I HAD approx 50gb free space. 90% of my 5000 songs on the 12 were in high quality. The other 10% in Lossless

Did the data transfer phone next to phone.

ALL music downloaded into my new 13 Pro Max as Lossless. Out of the 256gb space on the 13, I have 50gb free, so used 206gb.

I can’t see how to go back to High Quality music, even though I have that option ticked in the settings of the music app. If I remove a Lossless album, and redownload it, it comes back as Lossless, not in High Quality.

So I gained no space by doubling the space capacity of my phone. Which was done for RAW photos. NOT LOSSLESS music reasons as in truth, I can’t tell the bloody difference between High Quality and Lossless!

A trap.
