A very nice person who now is out of the country gave me an imac G3.. all was good and fun until yesterday when its switched itself off.
I've checked the power supply and that is all ok, but the on/off button seems to be stuck. I was thinking about trying to take the casing off and seeing if i can either re-aline the button or something, but I'm scared of killing forever my friends mac.. I know I'll probably have to take it to a shop but I'm totally without the funds at the moment (hence free mac) and was wondering if anyone out there had experienced of a similar problem and knew of a way I could solve the problem at home....???
