I kept trying to type "tacro" as in Tacrolimus the other day and it kept autocorrecting it to taco. "What's your current taco dose?"

Am I the only one that looks over what was typed before hitting "send?"

most likely lol

i think i've looked once or twice before hitting send but almost every time afterwards only to find out something's wrong, that's why I have biteSMS set to delay 1,5 secs so I cant stop it :)

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPod; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8B117 Safari/6531.22.7)

Does it actually autocorrect to swear words? Mine doesn't even though I was trying to say SH**

Every time I try to type 'for' it changes it to 'fir'. Every.damn.time.

Actually you type 'fir' and it doesn't auto correct to 'for' since 'fir' is a real word. The i and o are right next to each other on the keyboard.

Same with 'not' and 'nit'

I just learned of this site and wisely used search to find this thread. Funny that a whole wite has been made about this though.

I died laughing at some of those. One of my biggest tech peeves is spellcheck in general and especially the iPhone's version of it. I have this powerful computer in my hand or on my desktop and you tell me it can't even slightly be context aware when doing its corrections? Like if two letters are beside each other on teh keyboard, you would think it would suggest the correct thing, but nope, it just sits there letting it be, yet if you type something that makes perfect sense, it changes it to crap?
