Just bought a Mac Pro

After weeks of saving and managing to sell my Power Mac G5 last week I finally had enough to purchase the Mac Pro I've had my eye on for quite a while now.

I headed straight down to my local Apple Store (Regent Street) before closing and picked up the 2.26GHz 8-Core Mac Pro, they were real friendly there and I managed to get a whopping 16% off my purchase because I'm a student.

Once home I set it up straight away, to say it's fast is an understatement and I can't imagine what Snow Leopard will do for my machine in September.

My parents can't tell the difference, they think it looks the same LOL. Thing is, they haven't a clue what's inside this thing... :)
 
Well alrighty then. It is commendable that you saved your pennies to get it. Good work.

It runs very well with Snow.
 
Jealous.;)

All I need to get a Mac Pro is the money, start college to get the discount, and a reason to have one. I am desperately looking for a reason... Perhaps I'll start my own space program, I think that would be a good utilization of its power.:D
