Hey everyone, I just bought a new 2.0 Ghz Alu Macbook from amazon and it should arrive this Wednesday. I have been using windows all my life and have never used a mac before. I am very excited to try out this new mac but I am also starting to worry about a few minor things.

How does the warranty work on these macbooks? is it any different because I bought it from amazon instead of the apple store?

Is there anything I need to know about the mac before I take it out of the box?

Will the macbook connect to my linksys wireless-n router?

Is there an easy way to transfer my itunes library easily to the new macbook?

Any tips or advice for a completely new mac user like me? :p

1 Year. I don't think it is different.

Look at it for about 2 hours, then take it out. It's so beautiful.

Check for problems like.. Scratches, loose battery cover, slanted keys. I had none of these problems, but some people have.

Will the macbook connect to my linksys wireless-n router?
It should, Yes.
Any tips or advice for a completely new mac user like me? :p
Have fun. Its Amazing compared to a PC. Very easy to learn and setup also.

If you have an External hard drive, or a Flash/Thumb drive you can easily transfer your music. Drag-N-Drop :D

Or you could have apple do it. If your lazy

There should be a Itunes Files.

Itunes Music library.XML
That has all the song titles, ratings, etc. (I think)

And I'd just drag everything over.
All itunes folders.

Album artwork, Itunes music, Itunes Library files. Its worth a try.

I some how managed to do it. Everything was the exact same.
