Just Bought a New Macbook

Hey everyone this is my first post. Just wanted to let everyone know I'm typing this on my very first mac computer! I love my new 2.2 macbook, I can't wait to try out all the new things and finally say goodbye to windows forever (at least at home)! :)
 
Congrats! You'll find Windows runs better on your Mac than your PC if you ever want to try that :)

I got mine last week and love it! Also got .Mac so I can access my iMac while away. Very cool stuff.

I got my refurb Macbook yesterday and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I'm very happy that I got it.
 
I got mine back in August and I'm still giddy everytime I use it.

I was never excited to use my old (now retired) PC that is sitting in a closet gathering dust.
 
The first thing I noticed when I started using Macs is that Macs made computing fun again for me.

I hope that happens for you.

I just bought a 2.2 MacBook last night as well. It's my first experience with Mac and I'm loving it! It already runs greats on just 1 gig of RAM, but when I put 4 in it, it's gonna be a beast. I'm also gonna swap the hard drive out for the 500 gig coming out in a few weeks. I'm excited! :D

Yes, do go out and buy the 4GB RAM either from OWC for $99 for piece of mine or buy 4GB of RAM from newegg for $80 like I did.

For your "best value" I suggest going out today or before Saturday night to your local best buy and pick up the $150 WD Passport 320GB hard drive and open the enclosure and replace your macbook. If you want to wait for the 500GB 2.5 inch hard drive next month, it's going to cost you big time. It's not going to be close to $250-300 for the 500GB when it first comes out. The 320GB is your best option now.
 
Congrats! I also said goodbye to Windows 2 months ago, but still have to work on it at school...it reminds me how good OS X really is ;)
 
I just got a refurb Macbook and I can't believe how great this machine is. I've fallen in love with Macs all over again. Wow, just amazing.
 
I just returned from buying my daughter a new blackbook. An early grad gift as she is off to the U. of Alabama in a few months.
 
I got my new MacBook 3 days ago (2/18) and I love it. This is my first Mac all to my self, my aunt has one and every time i went over to her house, i just had to play with it. Although it cost me almost 1,900 (apple care & MS Office 08) the money was well spent.
 
I hope you have better luck than I had. I just bought my first MacBook last week and now I have to return it because a white horizontal line appeared on the screen.

It's a nice machine though.
