Looks like a pretty good deal to me. Not worried about lack of thunderbolt, as I'll be selling this as soon as the new Mac Pro's debut.

I just pulled the trigger on a 2010 2.93 i7 refurb. Looking at the benchmarks I'd say it's a great deal at $1569. And I need the regular target display mode for my macbook air and xbox. I was leaning towards the 2009 i7 but thought I'd miss the vram. And hopefully it will be really close to new because apple stores are sending back their remaining stock. Can refurbs be display models? Hopefully not.

Pretty awesome considering you can get the top BTO model for about $1000 less than the current top end...maybe I could've gone that route and gotten a new mbp 13" for the same price overall (ugh)

yeah, this guy benches ~9700 while the new BTO top imac gets ~12600 (64-bit). Not so bad for like 60% of the price.
