I was thinking about buying AppleCare for my computer when I got my computer, but I decided to hold onto the money for a while and then add the coverage later. I did some research and found out that some people have been happy with Squaretrade so I decided to buy my warranty from them. For about the same price as AppleCare I got a 3 year warranty for my 13" MBP that covers Accidental Damage too!

Let me know if you are interested in buying a squaretrade warranty or need any other infos because I got a coupon after my order that I can PM you. Would have saved me a few bucks off my warranty if I had known...

code REDHOT gives 20% off with a limit
they usually have 30% from time to time, with a limit

Does anyone know how they work? Lets say I buy cover for 3 years from them.

If I accidentally threw my laptop out the window and it broke...Do I just call them up and they send me a box and some paper work? Then I ship it back and then it comes back fixed?
