Upgraded from the ol' iPhone 2G; and, this is how I feel:

Wow, the original iPhone from back in 2007? Yeah, little bit of a difference huh? :)

It sure is. I had stopped using the iPhone for browsing, e-mail and other web-based functions long ago. For the past year or two it has simply been an iPod phone.
Now, well now I'm able do more than I'll ever need! Haha, technology amazes me.

Now that's what I call an upgrade! If you bought the 4S, than the difference will blow you away. Faster everything and brand new features.

Hope you enjoy yours as much as I am enjoying mine ;)

Yes, 4s!

Now I need to find some good headphones. With a phone like this, I can't help but wish that there were powerful wireless headphone options. Something mobile; something I can pop in & out of my breast pocket with ease, without the clutter and tangle of wires. That would be ideal.

You'll be so happy with your new phone, you'll be dancing the night away!

What prevented you from upgrading before?

I kept telling myself: "oh, this one works fine, I'll only upgrade if the screen shatters or the battery fails, no need to get another one now."
Needless to say, the only thing that failed - was my patience.

if you can believe this, there are some audiophile headphone forums out there. I did some research and picked up some spyder headphones. similar to the bose passive noise canceling but with real speakers, not hype.

Yeah.. Bose? No. They are not very good at all. Thanks for the recommendation, I'm going to look into the Spyders.

Edit: they look alright, I'm interested in the Klipsch s4i. Still wish there were wireless alternatives though.

I've had the Klipsch s4i for about a year now, and love them. Best IEMs I've ever used.

Here is the forum I was talking about:

most audiophiles say BOSE = Buy Other Sound Equipment. You can typically put together a system that is twice as good for half the price if you research the forums. Similar to Beats, BOSE is just brand recognition and a ton of marketing dollars behind it. The actual components aren't anything that impressive

I hear yeah, although not totally the same I went from a Gen 1 Ipod touch to a 4th Gen Ipod touch to the 4S

HUGE difference between 1st gen to 4th!
