Yes, I've never owned a cell phone. Never had to have one for work, never cared to since I'd always had enough devices around to keep me as connected as I wanted to be. Anyway, I now have an iPhone 6s.

I'm not tech illiterate, and I've been in the Apple ecosystem since the 1990s. I'm familiar with IOS (up to 8.4, thanks to my iPad). I know the obvious rule of using trusted wifi as much as possible (esp. with video and streaming) to avoid data overages.

So, what would you tell someone in my situation to help get him up to speed?

Thanks in advance!

What do you mean by "get up to speed?" It's a computer in your pocket that has an always on internet connection and makes phone calls. Learn the gestures, install some apps, play with it. You'll figure it out.
