So I bought another ipod. This time from the refurb store... £100 for a 3G 20gig with most of its accessories, (no case or dock).

I thought it was a pretty good deal, the case was spotless on the front but on the back looked like it has been 'brushed' to buff it up, so the apple logo is more gold in colour and the case is scratchless but has buff lines all over it in one direction. I cant get rid of the lines by rubbing them, they seem to be in the metal itself.

Anyone else have this on a refurb ipod?

just wondering whether i should return it for another, or keep it. Its that the front looks brand new.

Also, any guesses as to what this has been in for? as i assume that as the back is dodgy it was not simply a returned item within 14 days etc, but was probably brought back for something more serious?

also again... how long should i charge it for the first time?
