So I just bought a used 15" macbook pro on Ebay. I have a 30" cinema display that I plan to connect to it. I'm wondering if I will encounter any problems or need anything else to run it properly.

The specs are as follows:

2.33 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
ATI Radeon X1600 256MB VRAM
4 MB L2 Cache
15" Widescreen Display
120 GB Hard Drive
Built-in iSight Camera
Airport & Bluetooth
2 USB Ports, 1 Firewire 400, 1 Firewire 800
DVI Port
CD & DVD Burner (Super Drive)
Expansion Slot
Optical Audio Input
Apple Remote

I have a 17 inch MBP with similar specs that runs that config on a 24" display. Don't think you'll have a problem on a 30 incher

I was concerned I wouldn't get full resolution out of the display. No issues with that either?

I have that same Graphics config on my 17" MacBook Pro and it can drive my 30" monitor fine at full native resolution and refresh rate (2560x1600 @ 60Hz). You should not have any problems at all.
