I finally broke down and bought an iPhone. The new Verizon phone "the Voyager" was the last straw for me to switch to At&t.

Are there any tips or tricks I should know about? I own a mac so I am very familiar with the Web Gallery and safari and of apple products in general

What are some good Web Apps that are available? I have no interest in illegal 3rd party apps or hacking the phone in any way.

One tip I was told about that isn't in the manual.

When you press the home button to close an application, it doesn't actually close it completely. So if you run a bunch of stuff and just use the home button to do something else, eventually your iPhone will start to slow down.

You have to press and hold the home button for about 5 seconds to completely end an app. You'll see the screen go black and then the home screen.

I just got mine this week and it's awesome.

Cheers.

congrats on your purchase!

Did yours come with the 1.1.1 firmware? Meaning, was the iTunes store already on it?

Congrats. Do you have the negative black issue? Hopefully not, I'm hoping my next one doesn't.
