Hello,

basically what the title is saying: I've brought two HomePods home, brand new, plugged them in and started to set it up but it's just stuck to "configuring HomeKit" and nothing else happens.

Anyone has faced this issue and found a solution to this?

How long have they been configuring for? Sometimes it takes a little patience but sometimes my patience wears thin and I’d perform a factory reset which usually clears that up.

Thanks for the reply! Someone on Reddit advised me to reset the homepods, setup a new "home" on the home app and boot them here to make sure they update. I did and it worked, I was then able to setup on the actual home with other devices.

Awesome, whatever works. Everyone has their own dance to the Apple Gods to get their HomeKit/HomePod stuff to work lol.
