Just Buy iPhone - How to activate without updating to 1.1.1

Hello again,

Just buy myself an iPhone today (could not stop me). I was scared after a while, all the on in store will come preloaded with 1.1.1...

Anyway I got the phone, how can I activate it without installing the 1.1.1 update and the ATT uselessness????

1) Check on hackint0sh forum for code to verify software version
2) Confirm it's not already loaded with 1.1.1, if it isnt go to 3 if not return to apple(soho stores have hones w/ the new firmware preinstalled, so any recent purchases could too)
3) Run iNdependence and jailbreak it
4) Run the unlock GUI

poke around, there's links to hacks like INdependence and such that will faketivate it so you can unlock it and do your thing. DO NOT update your firmware. Which you already know.
