Just called the apple store for my exchange after 14 day period and said ok!!

I Just called and they told me as long as my purchase was under 30 days I can do an exchange even after the 14 day period!! I'd have to pay a restock fee but that's a very small price to pay to get the new mbp!!

Their unpacking it right now and told me to come back later so all I have to do is just play the waiting game!!

I wonder if this applies to every apple store, it sure seemed that the manager knew about the 30 day exchange period after a new update comes thing.

Not a huge surprise. Apple has done this for a while now with purchases close to a refresh.
