Hi,

Hoping someone has come across the same issue as this is annoying me a lot.
I cant seem to get my MBP to boot any other boot media like windows or linux.
It has booted them in the past as I was running a dual OSX/Windows setup for a long time.

This is what I have tried so far:

Windows, sidux, Ubuntu, Backtrack, etc
3-4 different brands of CD's, CDRW, DVDRW
Refit, holding down Alt, holding down C
Partitioning with bootcamp
Partitioning with diskutil resizeVolume
Re-installing OSX completely

My MBP has the following specs:

Model Name: MacBook Pro
Model Identifier: MacBookPro4,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo

Model: WDC WD3200BEVT-11ZCT0 = 320gb hard drive

Model: HL-DT-ST DVD+/-RW GSA-S10N
Revision: A101

Any help appreciated
