Hi!

This may sound stupid, but i just created a new mail/apple id with my surename_name@icloud.com, and all went good, but i was wondering if i some how have had this before? Because in the past ive had about 2-3 other icloud accounts with surename_name@icloud.com and name_surename@icloud.com.

My question is simply, is this even possible? Like is it possible to create a brand new email, if you allready have had one that you closed down with exact same email? Is there a way to find out if the email/apple id i created, have been used before by me?

Sorry for the bad explanation, but hope you got my point :) , my main consern i wanted a fresh start, and not an email/apple id i had before in the past.

My understanding is the Apple (like most other email providers) never reuse names for iCloud email. If they were to reuse an email address, the new owner could start receiving email intended for the old owner - ouch!

Yeah that’s the most logical thinking but is there a way to somehow confirm this? I doubt calling apple will do anything since they most likely won’t even know what I’m talking about :)
