I know this is a macbook pro forum but I guess I've seen them at the apple store and I'm thinking about replacing my $30 speakers from altec lansing they sound awesome for the price but I want something better on the desk.
So I was looking at the bose companion 3 or the 5 but they are priced at $299 and $399 which is a bit steep for computer speakers.
I know Bose is just over hyped but are they actually good? I usually like altec lansing for the price and might stick with that but anyone here have the bose and like them?
