Just curious: Why doesn't iOS have a BiteSMS way to respond to text msgs?

Seems like a great feature to be able to respond to text's instantly without always having to leave the app your currently in.

Why do you think Apple hasn't added this to iOS yet?

it's especially perplexing when you look at quick reply as a new feature to os x mavericks. my guess it is coming to ios, but with all the overhauling going on in ios 7, it just didn't make the cut this time around.
