I was at the maximum limit of my authorizations, so I deauthorized all computers. I then authorized this new MBP and tried to load my songs on the ipod. 1486 are ok, but even after JUST authorizing the computer successfully, it is telling me that for 14 random songs the computer is not authorized to play them.

What gives???

Did those 14 songs get purchased with a different iTMS account?

Nope. I tried authorizing the computer again and as expected, it told me the computer was already authorized. I logged out and then logged back in, and tried to play one of those songs and this time it told me the computer was not authorized. Went ahead and did it (so now I've burned two authorizations on one computer) and now only one song is a problem.

iTunes is always such a pain in the ass.
