Just dropped $5 on itether but i cant get my ipad to recognize my iphone 4

My Iphone 4 is on AT&T and is jailbroken and i enabled tethering on it in the settings --> network menu.

The ipad has itether installed but it will recognize only my mac but not my iphone.

Any direction would be extremely helpful.. thanks

Are you using the iPhone built in tether? if so it does not support wiifi hotspot. Only apps like PDA net and Mywi can make the iphone or ipad a wifi hotspot.

did you restart your phone? i know...seems silly, but often i find a simple restart helps sometimes.

im a dumbass, you also have to be in bluetooth seeking mode lol.
