In the light of the onion.com's headline of "last american who knew what the **** he was doing dies" of SJ, I thought to myself, I wonder how James Cameron stacks up against SJ?

Just food for thought.

What in the world does this have anything to do with the iPhone?:confused::confused:

Nothing at all.... some people just like making pointless threads. My favorite is when they add a pointless poll in the pointless thread.

Of course the same could be said for my responding to pointless threads with a pointless post.

San Dimas high school football rules!!

Clearly nothing to do w/ iPhone.

But definitely what they do is similar. Managing HUGE projects through huge amount of people and budget. Their leadership and vision sets them apart from other pretenders..

Good idea posting on the Iphone Forum, then.

Steve Jobs, late CEO of the most highly valued public corporations in the world.

James Cameron, movie director.

Oh yeah, I can see the connection immediately. Yeah. Sure. No problem.

So.. the maker of Pocahontas in Space vs the arguably the biggest influence in mobile technology to date. I'd say Jobs wins by several thousand miles. Also, Cameron was Canadian.

Making a totally illogical comparison between two people with absolutely nothing in common was bad enough.

But to make that totally illogical comparison with a CANADIAN!!!

The nerve! The absolute gall! Such chutzpah!

My God! What did Canada ever do for the US but send us cold air???

Silly and dopey :p :p

Well the OP was talking about the last American to know what they are doing so I thought I'd point out the the "American" he was comparing him to in fact was not one. I have nothing against Canadians, in fact from personal experience I like them more than Americans lol

Hey, boss, I hope you understood that the post was not intended to be just slightly sarcastic, and not taken seriously. I did everything I could to make that clear. ;)

No need to defend Canadians. :)

(Well...then again...) :D

That's Celine Dion and Jim Carey.

Don't forget Doc. That's Sir Frederick Grant Banting. :p

And Dribbley. That's James Naismith.

Shall I go on? :D

I was hoping you'd show up.:D

OK, OK - I guess Canada gave us more than cold air - it gave us you, sir!!!;)

(Such a tuchas lecher - but my mother taught me to be respectful to the elderly:rolleyes:)
