Myself, along with many, have been annoyed that when playing a game it is easy to mistakenly swipe the notification center down. In the new beta, when you're in a game in landscape, the first pull down only brings up the the little "tag" (for lack of a better word) and the second pull brings down the whole notification center!

This function seems to almost have AI because I could not replicate it in stock apps like messages and email. Also, if you don't do the second pull after 2-3 seconds the "tag" disappears. Check it out (tag):

Pretty sweet!

this change has been emphazised alot, actually.

it's a matter of whether or not the app is a fullscreen app (meaning, the app has no status bar at the top [the one with reception strength, clock, battery percentage])

Oh, sorry! I am not sure how I missed it.

At any rate I am excited by it :)

man you are WAY higher than me on infinity blade

Very nice feature. Really good for Apple to think of that. I got frustrated with Notifications centre constantly coming down when playing games.

Are you finding infinity blade to perform worse than on the previous betas? I found that the frame rate is not as good as it was with earlier betas and iOS 4.

I've gotten so used to it not being great with the beta that I haven't really noticed a big difference to be honest.
