Let me give you the backstory. I was in the App Store then I pressed the Home button to go back to the homescreen. This is what I saw

Then I swiped to the 2nd page and back, and swiped to other pages

Obviously my iPhone 4 is not jailbroken. I've never tried to jailbreak it with any of the existing tools for older iPhones either.
Also, please don't tell me how to fix the problem. I know how to get it back to normal with a simple restart. This post is to inform and hopefully Scott Forstall or someone sees this. I've also emailed Steve Jobs.

Just wanted to add that the OP's last thread regarding a "bug" (similar to this one) was locked.

I call bs.
It may not be BS, but more like a huge WGAS. This isn't a "major bug". Misleading topic and something nobody has reported here. If he didn't have the common sense to reboot his phone then it's not too surprising that he'd email the CEO of the company. Roffle. This thread is gold.

Why is it that people feel the need to email Jobs for every little quirk? I'm pretty sure he has much more important stuff to worry about.

People like you clearly don't understand how companies like this work. If there is an obvious error in code such as this, it must be fixed. Little or not, it is an error in their coding and they will make an effort to fix it. Although for something like this, it may take them only a few minutes to a few hours to figure out what is causing the issue. You need to grasp the concept of how professional people work before you go about acting as if the world revolves around you.

Yeah, this isn't exactly the same issue but that thread was locked because I was flaming all the idiots who were responding. Since that's all the moderator saw, the iOS issue was paid no mind and it was Wasteland'd. I should have known better to trust a MAC forum to have intelligence and knowledge beyond how to open Safari and upload photos.

Nobody reported it because they didn't experience it. You clearly don't know how bug testing works and the intricate methods of finding bugs in software. I don't have the common sense to reboot my phone? The issue here not NOT trying to resolve it with a temporary fix. It's a problem that simply needs to be recoded. Also, read the third sentence from the end of my OP. Comprehension, much?

Don't worry, I've heard Scott is a regular visitor to the most bitchy sub-forum on the web. He'll be along shortly to put us all at ease.

Could it be handy light. I am hearing of battery drainage from that app. Also you have to realize that an app that had a hidden code in it could also have a viruses of some sort

That's like saying "I am hearing Hummers use a lot of gasoline." Of course it's going to use a lot of battery. For one, it's using a ton of bandwidth (if you're a heavy laptop user) through a wireless 3G connection to a cell tower miles away. And the second thing is that it's relaying that Internet connection wirelessly to your laptop via an adhoc network. That's obviously going to require a LOT of power.

People like you clearly don't understand how companies like these work. Clearly, if you did, then you'd know that you can contact Apple directly either by calling them or by going to their website and reporting the bug.

People like you clearly dot understand how companies like these work. Clearly, if you did, then you'd know that you can contact Apple directly either by calling them or by going to their website and reporting the bug. You're [lack of] knowledge and intelligence really showed here too.

Classic failure in argument turnaround in attempts to look superior.

So what you're saying is since Apple has a bug reporting feature on their website, I don't know how companies like that work. Blocking you before I lose any more IQ.

I've found in most your posts it's not what you post but your totally crap attitude. Seems to me your big problem, other than the fact you can't properly delete an app, is your anger issues. You attack people for no reason, attempt to belittle them, and just act superior in general.

I think people would take you more serious if you dropped the attitude, just a suggestion.

Please don't lose any more IQ. You're barely down to nothing already as it is.

If you want Apple to know, let Apple know. Simple as that. You're on MacRumors website; not Apple's! But please, block me! Because clearly that'll save your last bit of IQ.

So you felt that the best course of action was emailing the CEO of the most valuable tech company in the world about a bug that has effected a ridiculously small portion of iPhone owners (and can be fixed with a restart or, worst case scenario, restore)?

Clearly, people like you don't understand how companies like this work.

Yes because professional people always go to the top of the ladder and bug the CEO with little problems like this. Sounds to me like you don't know what the hell a professional is. How about maybe emailing support or calling support instead of wasting the time and energy on sending an email to the CEO? Because in the real world you would go straight to the boss and bypass all the developers/engineers/project managers and the like. Yeah ok. Get a grip would you.

This is not a huge bug and will most likely be put at the bottom of 'Apples maybe we will fix this is we can be bothered sometime list'.
Companies concentrate on the major bugs and can get away with ignoring little ones that effect nothing.

Agreed. Most companies follow a process, and only escalate if the process fails.

The process rarely starts with "Email CEO about your minor issue."

You mean affect?

This is why this forum both sucks and rocks. It sucks there are so many people here that think they know how companies like Apple work, so they email SJ directly. I think the average poster of this caliber is some spoiled 20-year-old. It rocks because it's fun to watch these people flail their arms wildly at the criticism thrown their way by the more reasonable people. :D

Nah, it's most likely a cosmetic issue, but if it is easy to replicate then it's a higher priority issue. If it's hard or impossible to replicate, then the priority drops. Why waste time on something that never happens?

If it always happens, then it will get fixed. But I haven't seen it yet - anyone else?
