and the screen seems very blue! I'm honestly having a hard time adjusting to the new screen from my 2012 MBP non-retina. I installed f.lux to make the screen "yellower" but it still has a weird effect. For me it's the same feeling like when you're looking at your iPhone with sunglasses on. Any suggestions?
 
Have you tried calibrating your display in display preferences?

I never like the way the screens on apple laptops look straight out of the box. Calibration should be able to fix that. You may have to try several times or just look around here for a color profile that works better for you.
