Just got a 2wire gateway

Any other users here? In the main network panel (http://192.168.1.254) under Wireless Settings, should it be set to "WEP Open" or "WEP Shared?" Under 'WEP Open' on my macbook pro, the lock icon isn't present in the wireless menu next to the network name. but it is there on my iPhone.

So is my network blocked to outsider users?
