First thing that impressed me is it's ability to take low light shots. I took identical shots with my d40x in low light and the d90 kept it's shutter speeds nice and high and it cranked it's ISO to 2400+ with great results.

I was amazed at the results in low light. I definitely recommend this to anyone struggling in low light, of course you can get a lens that does 1.4-1.8 stops but this camera handles low light with a breeze at 3.5-5.6 without any fussing around with settings and exposure.
