just got a mac pro at work...need a monitor now

So my work is offering to purchase a 4K monitor. They would spend up to $2500, but obviously they would be happy spending less. Does anyone have any suggestions on a 4K monitor? priced up to $2500? would love to hear what you use / suggestions.

A IPS monitor gives better colours but costs more. A basic TN panel is much cheaper (under $1000) if you just want the resolution. The downside is that they are not perfect: http://www.tested.com/tech/pcs/459878-dude-dont-get-dell-4k-monitor/.

Also, do you want the regular 4K (3840x2160) or the actual cinema 4K (4096x2160)?
