Just got a macbook pro and need some help
Just a macbook pro running tiger 10.4.10 and I also have a mac osx leopard disk
How easy it to install
I want to do a complete wipeout since previous user was using it
I want to keep some of the software is that possible?

What about previous user files and etc
I want to get rid of that

If you choose the option to erase the HD and install new OS it will take care of that. You will have a fresh install of OS X.

So there is no way to keep the software that it has now?

Can I burn a copy of software if so how can I do it?

I'm pretty sure you need the original disks to install the programs.

If you want you can do an archive and install to Leopard - it will be a new OS but the user files will still be there - you can delete them, but the programs will remain.
