like 3 weeks ago...


im major disappointed like no other :p


what can i do? can i return the pro to get a newer 1???

secretly of course..but how would i go about doing it

because i really like the new battery and the sd slot..not to mention the effing ramm :(

any advice..

p.s - idc about a small restocking fee
 
Pretty much no from what I've read on these forums and others. You have a 2 week period only and you would have to pay the restocking fee if you were able but you're not. Sorry

I think you are out of luck tbh. I am going to buy my first ever mac soon so i am no expert, but from what i have gathered gathering feedback on forums and from friends, after the 2 week period, there is no hope.

I waited for 2 months, it seemed like forever, but now i am finally going to pull the trigger after the nice update yesterday.

ugh yah i wanted to wait, but i was getting it as a gift

and like to be honest..i wasnt sure if i waited. if i would still get it you know

so i had to kinda take it, and that effing blows if im screwed :/

he seems to have lucked out.....hopefully lightning strikes twice in ur case.
 
i just got my uMB last week. called apple store. they will give free swap for the new one

If you got it as a gift, then I think you should be more then happy for what you got.

And about the two weeks return polity... if it was three weeks, and you bought or got it four weeks prior, then three wouldn't be enough... so ... :confused:

oh believe me, i am happy about it

but i mean im also dissapointed, bcz its so bittersweet

? like a dev conference?? lmao come on..that was deff supposed to be about teh iphone :p

and plus its not even like they did minor enhancements

apple basically raped people who bought mbps lmao
 
But previous years the laptops have been updated in the fall and again in the spring - so getting one so close to the wwdc is a gamle. But sure its bittersweet, but try to enjoy your new awesome machine - it's a Mac - you can't go wrong with that :) ;)

but cmon :p..u know as well as i do they dont update EVERY year lmao.

and i want to, but i also would love the ram and the sd slot..the battery is whatever i suppose
 
Ring Apple. Speak to them nicely, say it was a gift and the person who gave it is so so disappointed to. Even offer to pay a restock fee, sometimes offering this prompts them to help and then maybe even waive the fee.

So long as you are polite, honest and push them gently, who knows... let us know how you get on.

oh i deff will..and thats my plan too ..

whats tihs about like the price guarantee too though?
 
it went really well..

i do however have to pay the restocking fee..

but its really like paying 200 more for a way better computer


so im happy :)))

congratulation, though personally i think $200 is not worth the upgrade because the non-removable battery and the loss of express card...
