Just got a new mac... having some trouble with itunes

Hello all,

I just picked up a new mac mini to complement my MBP. I'm trying to setup itunes so that I can see all my cloud purchases, but nothing is showing up. When I go into itunes and sign-in with my apple ID, I don't get to see any of my past downloaded media that is on my MBP, iphone, ipad, etc... I've authorized the computer in iTunes, and in my itunes account. So.. what am I missing? Should there be a way that I need to activate itunes so that it displays my icloud purchases? I've ticked all the boxes (even the "show iTunes in the cloud purchases" one), but no dice. Any ideas?

iTunes Preferences>Store>Show iTunes in the Cloud Purchases

Your music wouldn't be from another source by chance? If you purchased it from anywhere but the iTunes Store, then it will not show up there in iTunes in the Cloud.

Yes you'd have to use iTunes Match if there is other music than bought from the store.
