Just got a new macbook - screen seems misaligned

I just received a new macbook (the ones updates on tuesday), which I got under education for my brother's girlfriend. She asked me to set it up with software/video codecs etc, so I've opened it. The screen panel seems to be in the lower left corner. There is a visible (about half a mm thick) bar around the right and top side inbetween the white frame and the screen panel. I'll ultimately let her decide, but has anyone had a similar experience? Other than that it's a pretty good looking and slick machine.

Mine is showing with courier at the moment, I'll report back once i crack it open in a few hours. Hope it is an isolated incident, otherwise it's MBP for me, lol.

Return it. You pay a premium for a premium product. They will have no issues taking back a defective product.
