Just got a new macbook

Hi, i hav finally joined the mac family today. My fiance's dad was at newcastle airport yesterday and picked me up a 2.16 white MB for the VAT free price of £705. To say i'm stoked with it is an under statement. The only thing is that it's come with Ilife 06 not 08 on it. What is the best way to get apple to send me 08? is there a specific number to call apple on in the UK?

Sorry if this is a stupid question but i am a self confessed n00b

they might not give it to you, they will probably give you some sort of discount or rebate so you can go out and buy it. Just call service and they will transfer you correctly.

ilife upgrade

my info from denmark is that since you bought it after the latest upgrade to ilife, you should be able to send in your invoice to apple with a small handling fee and they will send you a cd with it on it. it should be on the apple web site. enjoy
